‘Introductions' Workshop June 5th 1PM

Presented by Electronic Music Foundation in collaboration with the Chelsea Art Museum, Introductions is a series of Saturday afternoon encounters with leading artists in music and art and technology who perform and/or demonstrate their ideas and techniques in working with computers, software, synthesizers, video, and other technologies.

On May 29th several Studio IMC artists, musicians, programmers, and professors from NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP), Yale University, abnd Eyebeam will give live demonstrations of their works. These works will include 3D visualization tools, new musical instruments, audio installations, interactive video displays, and immersive a/v installations.

This is an educational workshop in which all artwork can be actively manipulated and touched by viewers and participants. Students of all levels are welcome so teachers bring your classes and parents please bring your kids!
